“রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি একটি মসজিদ নির্মান করবে, যাতে আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করা হবে, আল্লাহ তা’আলা জান্নাতে তার জন্য একখানা ঘর নির্মাণ করবেন।”
তবে দ্বীনের এই দাওয়াত ও দ্বীন পালনে মুসলিম ভাই বোনদের নিঃস্বার্থ সহযোগিতার নানান আয়োজনের সম্পূর্ণ অলাভজনক এই প্রতিষ্ঠানটির এখনও কোন স্থায়ী ক্যাম্পাস বা ভবন নেই। সম্পূর্ণ অস্থায়ী ভবনেই চলে আসছে সকল কার্যক্রম। স্থায়ী ক্যম্পাসের অভাবে প্রতিকূলতা মেনে নিয়ে ভবন পরিবর্তনের ঝামেলাও পোহাতে হয়েছে অনেকবার। একজন আবাসিক স্কলারের সার্বক্ষণিক উপস্থিতিতে একটি মসজিদ ভিত্তিক কার্যক্রমের অভাবও অনুভুত হচ্ছে বারংবার – যার অনুরোধও আসছে শুভাকাঙ্খী ভাইবোনদের কাছ থেকে। কারণ আইসিডি কার্যক্রমগুলো আজ আর কোন পরীক্ষামূলক প্রকল্প নয়, বরং একটি পরীক্ষিত ও চলমান দ্বীনী আয়োজন।
আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, আজ আমরা আপনাদের এমনই একটি সমন্বিত উদ্যোগের সুসংবাদ দিতে যাচ্ছি। আইসিডির মসজিদ ভিত্তিক এই সমন্বিত উদ্যোগটির নাম: Masjid for Community Development (MCD) and Islamic Centre [‘মসজিদ ফর কমিউনিটি ডেভেলপমেন্ট এন্ড ইসলামিক সেন্টার’]। কুরআন-সুন্নাহ ও সহীহ আকীদার অনুসারীদের নিয়ে এই মসজিদ ভিত্তিক ক্যাম্পাস নির্মাণের লক্ষ্যে, ইতিমধ্যেই প্রয়োজনীয় দাপ্তরিক কার্যাবলী সম্পন্ন হয়েছে এবং ঢাকার অদূরে ৩বিঘা একটি জমির বুকিং দেয়া হয়েছে।
